Liz Elmhirst, Painter and Printmaker

Primarily Liz is an artist involved in developing Figurative art, inspired by a range of subject areas, in particular the Environment, gaining inspiration from Landscapes, Seascapes and Gardens, but also working from Plants and Still Life.

Liz is also very involved with Life drawing and belongs to the Hesketh Hubbard Society, where she has the opportunity to regularly work from a range of live models.

The mediums Liz uses most commonly are Watercolour, Pastel, Pen, Pencil and Etching, of which she has a large collection. All her work is for sale unless stated otherwise.

Liz has exhibited widely, especially in London, including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, Bankside Gallery Open and the Mall Gallery. She has also had many solo Exhibitions including one at the National Theatre and two at The Museum of Garden History in Lambeth.
